any ETA possible on when the new warmachine site will be active?
Right now it looks like its just a placeholder splash screen?

Right now there is no ETA on when it will be live. However as soon as it does go live it will be posted here & twitter first.

Well i suppose i can go spread the word via vassal to other Warmachine players in the meantime.
If your curious about vassal just lemme know and i'll post some explantory info and link.
it basically lets players play warmachine through a very nice java app :)

okay, Vassal is a free download java application that allows players to play a rather large selection of tabletop, card, and board games online. (great for people who are oversea's or otherwise unable to visit the local game store.)

Is the link (with an example pic of a game in progress) to the warmachine/hordes module. While its nothing fancy being a 2D top down view it does allow for very good simulation of actual tabletop play. All of the artwork has been done by the module's creators and gives a very good representation for each unit in the game .(easy recognition)
Chat functionality is there through a lobby/room system.
Depending on the time of day there can be no one on or upwards fo 20+ players all looking for a game of warmachine/hordes. Many of them are regulars on the Privateer press forums as well.
