I recorded a video of the demo on Friday, but the tape became mangled somehow. I was able to salvage some of it, though. It's only the last few minutes of Scott's playthrough, but hopefully it gives you all a better idea of what it looks like. If I understood correctly, an official video may be popping up sometime. Until then...

We'll have an Iron Agenda episode up soon with our interview with Scott Campbell and Kevin Mack of WhiteMoon Dreams. I think it'll have some interesting information for everybody. Our interview with them last year can be found in episode 51 if you're interested (found here: http://www.ironagenda.com/2009/08/27/episode-051-whitemoon-dreams-wm-video-game/).

Wow. Very nice.

Definitely a work in progress; the presenation's there, the combat mechanics are coming along nicely. Just gotta continue work on effects and polishing up combat animations, on top of whatever else is being done.

I'm excited.

Thanks for the video, it was so frustrating to just know that the presentation was a success.

Could you make a summary of your podcast? I have difficulties to understand spoken english, i read it better.

This is really amazing! Are you guys releasing any design documents or anything so we can see how the game will play?
What about software? What modeling applications do you guys use? (Those Warjacks are amazing!) Are you building a custom engine?

I'm incredibly excited about this! I started playing Warmachine when it first released. I've always thought it would make a great video game.

We're glad you're excited about it! We won't really release design documents per se because that would give too much away - It's always nice to have some surprises (so long as they're pleasant :P). That being said, we do want to have a certain level of transparency into our development process that's not been previously done before and we're still figuring out exactly what that's going to be.

As for software, we use quite a few 3D apps - 3DS Max for environments and Maya for characters and animation. We use things like Visual Studio for code and various plugins here and there. There's also a LOT of other software and hardware involved in the development of these things, not to mention cookies, cakes and pies.

Cool...I'm a Maya guy myself :)

I'm glad to hear you're still working on this. I was beginning to think the project had been cancelled or something :(

Best of luck.
